About KINGdom Story Project
It's all about the KING and His Kingdom
A KINGdom Story Project study tour is designed to get each participant to experience the land of the Bible. We believe that in walking where Jesus walked, we gain insight into the world he lived in. We also believe that in doing so Jesus becomes more real.
Tour objectives are to experience the Bible in the places it happened, so that we all might leave Israel and live what we have learned. We believe the only reason a follower of Jesus should travel to Israel is not to see cool sites, but to get to know Jesus as King and live more intentionally so that his Kingdom might reign in our lives and world.
Meet David Mosterd
In 2 Peter 1:5 we read that we are to “make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge.” For me that effort has taken me down a path of understanding the history, geography, language, and culture of the Bible. In doing so, I have found a depth of faith, a richness of the call He has given me, and a beauty of the mission He has given to His children. In my study throughout Israel and the Middle East, I have gained insights on the connections of the Old and New Testaments and how they tell one story. It is that great story that God has been writing since the dawn of Creation, a story that continues through Abraham, Moses, David, Elijah, Jesus, and the Apostles, and it is that same story that God continues to write with His people as His partners. I want to invite you to join that story by stepping into the ancient footprints of those who have gone before us. We will find in their stories, moments where they understood and lived the mission, and we will uncover times when they misunderstood or misrepresented the mission of being salt and light to a world that needs salt and light so desperately.
